Kayla Walsh
(Psychotherapist #009334) Working Counsellor: Online & In Person Sessions
Hi, my name is Kayla,
Creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work as a therapist. I strongly believe in the importance of feeling safe and supported in therapy, as well as having a space where you feel like you are heard, understood and can have a voice. I work together with clients to establish goals and foster an environment that supports safety and progress in reaching those goals.
You are not alone in this, my role is to be a support to you throughout this process. Therapy can be a vulnerable experience, and I consider it a privilege to work alongside you as we navigate this experience together. I will support you in understanding, expressing and feeling your emotions as well as understanding how our past experiences continue to affect us today.
I work from a trauma informed, client-centered lens and have experience in supporting clients with substance use, PTSD, domestic violence and abusive relationships, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. I work with individual adults, 18+ years old.
I look forward to meeting you and working together.
