Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy sessions are for people wanting to work on living a life filled with meaningful activities. An occupational Therapist (OT), works with you to start building a foundation of understanding and then finding strategies that help you to work with your condition, instead of against it. Those strategies may include behavioural activation, exposure therapy, psychoeducation, building routines and structure, CBT techniques, DBT techniques, developing skills for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)/Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) and remedial/compensatory cognitive strategies.
